I Cannot Speak Highly Enough of the Care
My brothers and I moved our mother to Laurel’s Lake Residence almost a year ago. The process went very smoothly due to the sensitive and supporting care given to the entry process by the staff of Laurel’s Lake. Since that time our mother has received a high level of care and attention to her health needs. Laurel’s Lake has a unique model of Senior care, with 4-to-1 ratios between residents and staff. The bright, modern interior of the condos with comfortable upscale furnishings does a lot for the morale and comforts of the residents. Consequently, I cannot speak highly enough of the care and generous, active support given to our mother, particularly considering all of the safety and morale needs during this Covid-19 year.

The Highest Level of Professional and Personal Care
We are very grateful to have found Laurel’s Lake Residences. Our mother suffers from advancing dementia. Hospital staff told us of Laurel’s extended care services. We met with Laurel and made the move to the Dartmouth location. She was there one year and then moved to the Tantallon location. We have not questioned that decision for one moment. Mom’s general health has flourished and there have been no incidents of concern in two years. We know and trust that mom receives the highest level of professional and personal care which is evident in every visit. Laurel’s staff create a home environment by offering a high level of social contact amongst the residents. It’s rare not to see folks at the kitchen table. A comforting and positive experience.

The environment is immaculately clean, cheerful and friendly. I sing the praises of Laurel and her caregivers as they sincerely love what they do having witnessed how happy and content my mother was to be living there. My mother was living in Laurel’s Residence since April 2015 and was always treated as a family member not just a client. I felt so reassured that my mother was in the hands of such a wonderful team and never had to worry that she was not getting the best possible care.
